” I redeemed myself-to produce and act in this video, since it celebrates my screenwriting work on the worldwide blockbuster – Don 2, a decade ago. Instead of bringing Shahrukh Khan into this project, I decided to gift him a warm salute of gratitude. So I stepped in front of the camera myself, and exploded with the dynamite called cinema. Shahrukh is to me the epitome of dedication, passion and smart-work, which I how I filmed this video around the landmark ‘Gateway fo India’ and acted in it to bring out the fervour of what super- actors always do to the audience- create a spellbound cinematic experience”
“‘When Deepa brought this song to me, it stirred memories of my time with Lataji’ at Western Outdoor Studio- south Mumbai, where we have now also filmed the music video and recorded the song. She would simply look at me in her pristine silence with a mischievous smile, but I could feel a flaming sense of love in her eyes,” Shah shared.
