From Aspirants to Officers: 238 Success Stories from Shankar IAS Academy

Shankar IAS Academy has once again proven its dominance in the field of civil services coaching, with a phenomenal 238 selections in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024. As the final results were released by the Union Public Service Commission on Tuesday, the academy proudly stood out for shaping a large share of this year’s successful candidates.

Among the 1009 candidates who cleared the Civil Services Examination 2024, a significant number were trained and mentored by Shankar IAS Academy. 25 students from the academy secured spots in the Top 100 All India Ranks, including 10 women, underlining the academy’s focus on inclusive and result-driven mentorship.

Leading the state of Tamil Nadu is Mr. B. Sivachandran, who secured All India Rank 23 and State Rank 1, having enrolled in the academy’s Mains and Interview programs. Other standout performers include Ms. Monica R (AIR 39) through the Mains & Interview Programme and Ms. Pavithra P (AIR 42) through the GSPCM Classroom Programme.

The academy’s impact also extends beyond Tamil Nadu. Mr. Raj Krishna Jha, a participant in the Mock Interview Programme at the Delhi center, secured All India Rank 8, adding to the academy’s national credibility.

From Tamil Nadu alone, 57 candidates cleared the exam this year — 45 of them trained at Shankar IAS Academy, reinforcing the institution’s unmatched success rate in the region.

The UPSC 2024 journey started with the Preliminary Exam on June 16, 2024, followed by the Main Exam from September 20 to 29, 2024. Mains results were announced on December 9, and the Interviews ran from January 7 to April 17, 2025, leading up to today’s final announcement.

With yet another year of outstanding results, Shankar IAS Academy continues to lead the way in guiding aspirants toward success in India’s most competitive examination.
