MEIL Director Sudha Reddy Makes History As Miss World’s First-Ever Global Ambassador

Following a monumental gala at her private residence, Mon Amour Palais which made it to the iconic Times Square in New York; in a historic first, celebrated businesswoman and philanthropist from Hyderabad, Sudha Reddy has been named the first-ever Global Ambassador for the Miss World Organization. This prestigious appointment was formally unveiled during the 72nd Miss World grand finale and underscores Reddy’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian work, women’s empowerment and global betterment over the last two decades.

In her role as Global Ambassador for Beauty With A Purpose, the charitable arm of the Miss World Organization, Reddy will spearhead global outreach initiatives, advocate for critical humanitarian causes, and share stories of impact from around the world. The Miss World event’s return to India after nearly three decades coincides with Reddy’s appointment, bringing together delegates from over 100 nations in Hyderabad to celebrate beauty, culture, and purpose. Beauty With A Purpose, established in 1972, remains the heart of the Miss World Organization, channeling resources into vital projects addressing child health, women’s rights, education, and disaster relief.

Sudha Reddy’s appointment follows the felicitation of Nita Ambani, who received a humanitarian award from the Miss World Organization last year. As Global Ambassador, Reddy will also lend her expertise and global perspective to the judging panel for the Miss World 2025 Grand Finale.
