Nothing Phone (3) to offer five years of Android upgrades and seven years of security updates

New Delhi, June XX, 2025 – Nothing, the London-based technology company, is gearing up for the global launch of its first true flagship smartphone, Nothing Phone (3), on 1st July, 2025.

While the upcoming launch has got the whole world talking, In a recent development, Nothing co-founder and President India, Akis Evangelidis confirmed that users can expect five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security patches, a significant step up from the previous generations.

This extended support cycle is enabled by the integration of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which not only powers major performance gains, up to 88 % faster GPU and 125 % faster NPU vs. the Gen 3, but also unlocks deeper, platform level software longevity.
