RISING AUTHOR SUBHAM SAHU LAUNCHES DEBUT NOVEL THE BATTLE OF PANCHJANYA, FIRST IN THE KRISHNA TRILOGY

Author Subham Sahu has announced the release of his debut novel, The Battle of Panchjanya, the first installment of the highly anticipated Krishna Trilogy. The book is now available on Amazon, Flipkart, Kindle, and Google Play Books.

In a fresh approach to mythological storytelling, Sahu reimagines Lord Krishna not solely as a divine figure but as a young man navigating choices, struggles, and lessons on his journey to becoming Vasudev.

Set after Krishna’s education at Guru Sandipani’s ashram, The Battle of Panchjanya follows Krishna, his brother Balaram, and friends Subal and Sudama as they embark on a perilous quest to rescue their guru’s son from the sea-demon Shankhasur. Guided by Maharishi Vyas, Krishna must confront not only the demon but also his inner fears and doubts. Emerging victorious, he claims the divine conch Panchjanya, symbolizing his first step toward destiny.

“The idea was to portray Krishna in a way readers could emotionally connect with—as a young man who made mistakes, learned, and rose to become Vasudev,” said Sahu.

Blending mythology, philosophy, and emotion, the novel sets the stage for an epic trilogy. The next two parts of the Krishna Trilogy are scheduled for release on Janmashtami 2026 and Janmashtami 2027, continuing Krishna’s extraordinary evolution.

UPCOMING PROJECTS

Beyond the Krishna Trilogy, Sahu has several new works lined up:

“Before the Flame” – releasing on October 18, 2025, a moving retelling of Shiv and Sati’s love story.

“After the Ashes” – arriving on Maha Shivratri 2026, chronicling the divine marriage of Shiv and Parvati.

“Unseen Shackles” – a contemporary romance Sahu describes as “deeply personal,” set for release on November 24, 2025.

12-part Ramayan Series – an expansive retelling of the epic, exploring lesser-known aspects while staying rooted in tradition.

EXPANDING INTO VISUAL STORYTELLING

In addition to his books, Sahu is entering the visual medium. His upcoming web series “Yaari Hai Ankahee” will mark his directorial debut, while his feature film project, tentatively titled “Navadurga”, will explore themes of feminine divinity.

With his unique ability to merge mythology with human emotion, Subham Sahu is fast emerging as one of the most versatile storytellers of his generation. His stories bridge the gap between the divine and the human, making ancient legends accessible, relatable, and inspiring for today’s audience.
