The Lean Team Behind It

The team of Himanshu Poswal, Shivnath Halder, and Tushar Singla understands this struggle well. It is a lean team with backgrounds in UPSC, tech, media and ops. Their approach was simple: build what aspirants want. To do that, they spent months traveling across India from Lucknow and Patna to Indore, Jaipur, and Hyderabad; living among aspirants and learning their needs firsthand. Two core learnings: Extreme loneliness & high FOMO.

 

Strong Early Traction

The result speaks for itself. Within a month of launch, Aspirant Adda has crossed 20,000 users from 700+ Indian pin codes. Students are discussing topics, forming study groups, and finding emotional peer support during the long and difficult preparation journey.

 

The Bigger Vision: Ed-Communities for India

But the vision does not stop here. The founders believe ed-communities (digital communities built around education) are the next big thing for India. Just as coaching and content grew into large industries, peer-to-peer platforms will become the third pillar of learning.
