Shaurya Gupta, born on 26th Sep 2012 is an exceptionally talented boy with a passion for playing table tennis. At a young age of just 12 years he has achieved an impressive 31st rank at the National level TT, in 2024, in his age group. Currently studying in Sri Venkateshwara International School, Dwarka, he has brought laurels to the school and has excelled as a sportsperson and a scholar.
At the recent Delhi State Table Tennis Championship 2024, held at Bosco Public School Paschim Vihar Delhi, he has captained the South West Delhi (Dwarka) U-13 and U-15 boys’ table tennis teams, and led the team from the front to bag the 2nd position and winning the silver medal in both the team events.
In the individual category of U-13 despite facing stiff challenge from the seniors he secured the second runner-up position with a nail-biting 2-3 match and winning the bronze medal.
He also bagged gold medals from Southwest (Dwarka) Delhi in the individual U-13 and U-15 boys’ categories in Delhi district championship, cementing his dominance at the state level.
Beyond his sporting achievements, he excels academically as a school scholar and nurtures a passion for coding, particularly in Python programming, showcasing his multifaceted talents.
