The All Tai Ahom Students’ Union, Assam, has bestowed the prestigious ‘Sahosi’ (Gallantry) Award upon STF Chief of Assam Police, Mr. Parthasarathi Mahanta, IPS. Mr. Mahanta was recognized for his exemplary service in combating challenges to Assam’s security and for his exceptional efforts in the drive against drug trafficking. Currently serving as IGP Administration, Special Task Force, Bureau of Investigation of Economic Offences, and Traffic & Road Safety, Mr. Mahanta’s dedication has significantly contributed to the safety and well-being of the state.
