Surat, August 04, 2025 – In a unique educational outreach program, Sylvi, a homegrown watch brand from Surat, introduced its “Timekeepers of Tomorrow” CSR initiative at Suman High School No. 9. The event brought together over 450+ students, aiming to instill the value of time management as a key life skill for young learners.
With support from SWOT Charitable Trust, Sylvi conducted interactive sessions designed to help Class 10,11 and 12 students reflect on their daily routines, understand the difference between wasting and investing time, and develop better prioritization habits.
In a gesture that set this initiative apart, Sylvi gifted every student, teacher, and attendee a wristwatch. According to the organizers, this act aligns with Sylvi’s philosophy of the “Joy of Gifting”, symbolizing that time itself is the most valuable present one can offer to another.
The half-day program included multiple activities:
●Perception of Time – Encouraging self-awareness about how individuals view and use time.
●Spending vs. Investing Time – Helping students analyze current time habits and envision more productive routines.
●Priority Setting – Teaching how to distinguish urgent tasks from important ones.
●Inspirational Storytelling – Highlighting how disciplined use of time can shape success.
The sessions concluded with remarks from Sylvi’s founders, emphasizing their message in Gujarati:
“Samay no sadupyog, safalta no pehlo kadam che” (Using time wisely is the first step to success)
The event saw active involvement from education leaders and trustees:
●Shri Dharmeshbhai Patel – Administrative Officer, SUMAN School, SMC
●Dr. Vijaykumar Radadiya – Associate Professor, AURO University and President, SWOT Charitable Trust
●Shri Govindbhai Patel – Principal, Suman High School No. 9
●Shri Dipakbhai Savani – Trustee, SWOT Charitable Trust
●Advocate Kamleshbhai Chodvadiya – Trustee, SWOT Charitable Trust
●Shri Maheshbhai Mangukiya – Trustee, SWOT Charitable Trust
●Shri Kishorbhai Ghevariya – Trustee, SWOT Charitable Trust
The program ended with Sylvi’s tagline “Race with Time,” urging students to value every moment and channel it towards building successful futures.
Speaking about the initiative, a Sylvi spokesperson said:
“This program is not about promoting our brand—it’s about giving young people the tools and mindset to use time wisely. A watch is not just an accessory; it’s a reminder that time is precious and should be respected.”
Organizers shared plans to extend the “Timekeepers of Tomorrow” initiative to other schools across Surat and Gujarat in the coming months.
