Swastik Productions evolves into Swastik Stories, launching India’s first cultural storytelling ecosystem this Diwali

18 years of storytelling, now reimagined for the future with a FAST channel, Swastik Originals, and a roadmap across film, stage, domes, and Bharatverse.

MUMBAI, India, 25th September 2025: Swastik Productions, a name synonymous with India’s most iconic mythological and historical shows, today unveiled its evolution into Swastik Stories. The rebrand marks the strategic launch of India’s first integrated cultural storytelling ecosystem, beginning this Diwali with a new FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel and a slate of Swastik Originals.

The announcement was symbolised by the lighting of an Akhand Diya at the company’s Mumbai headquarters by NP Singh, former MD & CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India, representing the eternal flame of storytelling that Swastik Stories will carry forward.

Founder’s Vision

Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder & Creative Visionary of Swastik Stories, said, “For 18 years, these stories have been more than shows — they’ve been part of people’s lives, and I carry that love with me every day. With Swastik Stories, I don’t see this as just a rebrand, but as lighting a new diya. This Diwali, we begin with a FAST channel and Swastik Originals — but the vision is larger. Swastik Stories will grow into a cultural storytelling ecosystem with films, stage, domes, and Bharatverse — each a new way of carrying Bharat’s stories forward. Shows may end, industries may change, but stories must live forever.”

The Diwali Launch: A New Beginning

The first phase of the Swastik Stories ecosystem goes live this Diwali, focusing on digital accessibility and cultural reach:

FAST Channel: A free, 24/7 cultural channel offering curated blocks of Swastik’s legendary shows, bringing timeless narratives to wider audiences.

Swastik Originals: A new slate of premium, digital-first series that continue Swastik’s tradition of grand storytelling, reimagined for today’s streaming audience.

The Forward Roadmap: An Ecosystem for Bharat’s Stories

The Diwali launch is only the beginning. Swastik Stories’ vision is to transcend a single screen and create a multi-format ecosystem:

Films: Theatrical productions bringing epic and devotional stories to the big screen.

Stage: Large-scale, immersive musical theatre for live audiences.

Domes: Experiential storytelling in planetariums and digital domes.

Bharatverse: A pioneering digital space, blending interactive storytelling and metaverse experiences for the next generation.

Every communication from Swastik Stories will be anchored by three core ideas:

1.The diya as a metaphor for the eternal flame of storytelling.

2.The immediate launch of the FAST channel and Originals.

3.The ambitious forward roadmap of India’s first cultural storytelling ecosystem.

Swastik Stories is not just about looking back at 18 years — it is about lighting a fire for the next hundred years. A cultural ecosystem where the stories of Bharat will always find a home.

About Swastik Stories

Born from the 18-year legacy of Swastik Productions, Swastik Stories is India’s first cultural storytelling ecosystem. Dedicated to preserving and promoting the timeless stories of Bharat, the company creates across formats — television, digital streaming, film, stage, audio, and immersive experiences. Its mission is simple yet profound: to ensure that these narratives continue to inspire and guide generations to come.
